Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugh Chernenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jari Nieminen!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernenko takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nieminen drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nieminen trying to control the position from guard on top but Chernenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nieminen controlling from the top position.
Chernenko had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nieminen defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chernenko is looking for a triangle but Nieminen pushes his legs off easily.
Nieminen wants to pass the guard but Chernenko is keeping the position.
Chernenko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nieminen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nieminen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chernenko looking for a guillotine here but Nieminen defends easily.
Chernenko keeping moving, preventing Nieminen from controlling successfully.

Chernenko is looking to stand up but Nieminen isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nieminen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chernenko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nieminen trying to control the position from guard on top but Chernenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nieminen.
Nieminen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nieminen dives in and grabs Chernenko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chernenko pushes down on Nieminen's head and hops out.
Chernenko stuffs the takedown attempt from Nieminen. Nieminen gets slowly back to his feet.
Hugh Chernenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jari Nieminen.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nieminen shoots for a double leg takedown but Chernenko sprawls well. He's pushed Nieminen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nieminen looks gassed!
Chernenko scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nieminen in his tracks.
Chernenko rushes Nieminen with punches - Nieminen moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Nieminen goes down! Chernenko follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hugh Chernenko!
