Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Fresco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Murikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murikka has chosen Rock'n'Rolla as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jacques Fresco has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacques Fresco seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresco looks to score with a jab to the body but Murikka is just out of range.

Fresco jabs Murikka right on the nose. Murikka blinks but takes it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murikka is stalling here. Fresco is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Murikka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Fresco has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jussi Murikka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Fresco moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Murikka stuffs the takedown attempt from Fresco. Fresco gets slowly back to his feet.
Fresco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Murikka counters with a low kick, right behind Fresco 's knee.

and Murikka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Jacques Fresco has been cut.

Murikka throws a strike but Fresco rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fresco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murikka swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fresco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fresco drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Murikka manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fresco has Murikka in his guard.
Fresco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fresco can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Murikka controls the pace.
Fresco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Murikka pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fresco is keeping the position for now.
Fresco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Murikka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jussi Murikka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fresco has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Murikka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fresco.
