These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hastings avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hastings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Swift.
Swift misses with a few strikes there.
Swift wants to clinch up but Hastings keeps it at a distance.
Hastings avoids a punch combination nicely.
Swift tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hastings swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Swift gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Swift throws an elbow that misses.
A body shot lands from Hastings.
Hastings stalling in the clinch but Swift improves position.
Hastings comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Maverick Swift has been cut.
Hastings lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Swift backwards.
Swift breaks the clinch.
A combination from Swift does no damage.
Swift blocks a head kick by Hastings.
Swift throws a sloppy head kick
and Hastings counters with a nice low kick that buckles Swift's knee momentarily.
Hastings gets the takedown into side control.
Hastings trying to control the position but Swift is working away.
Hastings cracks Swift with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Hastings immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Swift is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Hastings!
