Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdenek Taticzek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zdenek Taticzek! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taticzek throws a chopping leg kick but Davis manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Taticzek will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davis checks the leg kick. Taticzek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Taticzek avoids a punch combination nicely.

Taticzek misses with a looping left. Davis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taticzek attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Taticzek misses with a low kick as Davis jumps back. Davis has Taticzek up against the cage in a clinch.
Davis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taticzek smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taticzek tries a low kick but Davis avoids it. Zdenek Taticzek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taticzek misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Taticzek working to try and regain half guard.
Davis goes for an armbar but Taticzek turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Taticzek. Taticzek controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taticzek wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis trying to keep a closed guard but Taticzek is proving a slippery customer.
Taticzek wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position. Taticzek advances to half guard. Davis wants to get back to his feet. Taticzek is working for a kimura but Davis is defending it quite comfortably.
Taticzek wants to pass the guard but Davis is defending well. Davis is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taticzek performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Taticzek wants to pass to mount but Davis is defending the position. Taticzek is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Taticzek to get the leverage. Taticzek frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Taticzek throwing strikes here but Davis is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Taticzek thowing shots but they're missing. Taticzek unloading with bombs! Taticzek trying to control but Davis is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davis is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zdenek Taticzek dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Taticzek.
Taticzek tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Taticzek throws a low kick, looking for Davis's leg but Davis calmly moves out of range. Taticzek throws a looping overhand right but Davis ducks down to avoid it. Oooh a lovely combination from Taticzek sends Davis down but not out. Taticzek dives into side control looking to finish.
Davis is rocked!
It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut. Taticzek tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Taticzek has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Oh Davis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Taticzek is looking to take a break and control but Davis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Davis is being controlled here. Davis seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taticzek is trying to get an arm triangle but Davis is defending well. Davis gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Davis is staying active underneath Taticzek, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Davis trying to control here.
Taticzek wants to control but Davis is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Taticzek wants to pass the guard but Davis is defending well. Taticzek is just content to waste time from the top position. Davis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Taticzek throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet. Davis keeping moving, preventing Taticzek from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Davis avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Davis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Taticzek misses with a two punch combination.
Marcus Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Taticzek throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily. Taticzek finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Davis checks a leg kick. Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Taticzek which made him look bad. Taticzek throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.
Taticzek connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A clash of legs there as Davis blocks the low kick. Taticzek pivots, looking for a leg kick but Davis is out of range and Taticzek settles back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Taticzek throws a combination that misses and Davis counters with a three punch combo that has Taticzek backing up. Taticzek nods at Davis to acknowledge the strikes. Taticzek falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis counters with an inside leg kick. Taticzek throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Taticzek throws a head kick that misses so Davis counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taticzek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Taticzek can't keep his opponent in guard - Davis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Taticzek blocking the ground and pound attempt from Davis. Taticzek gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zdenek Taticzek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marcus Davis's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Taticzek throws a sloppy head kick and Davis counters with a single leg into guard. Taticzek didn't expect that. Davis trying to control but Taticzek is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Taticzek is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Davis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Taticzek trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taticzek throws a strike but Davis rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Davis throws and elbow that misses. Taticzek uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Davis's guard. Nice move by Taticzek! Taticzek trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Taticzek trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Taticzek stays in close to Davis's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Taticzek sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Davis's guard. Davis is staying active underneath Taticzek, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Taticzek seems to be working for a kimura but Davis defends the submission attempt. Davis is in trouble now - Taticzek has advanced to mount! Taticzek moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Davis has worked his arm free - good work by Davis!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis is not content to let Taticzek control the position. Taticzek working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Zdenek Taticzek is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Davis gets back to half guard. Davis trying to control but Taticzek postures up.
Taticzek is trying to control the action in half guard but Davis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Davis is trying to get back to full guard. Taticzek wants to pass the guard but Davis is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Taticzek cracks the inside of Davis's front leg.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Davis showed his dominance in that final round. I think Taticzek has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
