Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Kerrr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and London Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marc Kerrr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, London Paul! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kerrr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Paul throws a nice looking combination but Kerrr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Paul misses with the combination.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Paul. Kerrr tries to get back to half guard but can't. Paul has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. No joy there for Paul, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kerrr misses with a double jab
enabling Paul to counter with a crisp jab. Kerrr fails with the takedown and Paul counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kerrr thinking. Kerrr tries to clinch but Paul moves out of range. Paul tries to close the distance and clinch but Kerrr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. London Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paul cracks Kerrr with an open hand slap. Kerrr closes the distance and clinches up with Paul, looking for a takedown. Kerrr pushes Paul against the cage but Paul circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Paul checks a low kick from Kerrr. Paul throws a combination that misses and Kerrr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Paul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kerrr is breathing heavily. Paul scoring with some ground and pound. Paul must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kerrr has momentary wrist control but Paul slips an elbow through the middle. Kerrr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Paul lands a couple of elbows. Paul scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Kerrr throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul stands up and waves to Kerrr to follow him. The fight stays on the outside here - Kerrr looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Paul closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul controlling the action here for a moment.
Paul tightens his grip and picks Kerrr up, before dumping him to the ground. Kerrr manages to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Paul tries to free his leg and advance position but Kerrr is retaining full guard. Paul trying to control but Kerrr is working from the bottom. Paul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerrr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Paul trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kerrr's guard. Paul wants to control from the top but Kerrr keeps moving. Paul is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kerrr trying to keep a closed guard but Paul is proving a slippery customer.
Paul won't allow Kerrr to sweep him here. Paul stands and steps away. Kerrr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Paul misses with a few strikes there.

Paul throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerrr fails with the takedown enabling Paul to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Kerrr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul drives through and clinches with Kerrr against the cage.
Paul has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kerrr clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Paul doesn't have the hooks in and Kerrr manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Paul avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Paul wants to stand and escape but Kerrr is having none of it. Paul wants to sweep here but Kerrr controlling him for the moment. Kerrr passes easily into side control. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paul is looking for a sweep. Kerrr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Paul tries to escape but Kerrr is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paul struggling a bit here. Kerrr tries to move to mount but Paul blocks the move with his legs. Paul is looking to reverse the position. Paul wants to get back to his feet but Kerrr drags him back down. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paul can do anything to dispel that myth. Kerrr stands up and beckons Paul to his feet. Paul dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Paul closes the distance and clinches. Paul creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Paul lands a shot to the body. Paul lands with a left to the head. Kerrr tries to pull guard but Paul won't allow it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Paul is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kerrr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Paul gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Paul lands a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Paul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kerrr swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kerrr throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
London Paul dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Paul doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kerrr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kerrr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Paul throws a leg kick but Kerrr moved away. Danga de danga de dang - Kerrr scores with a four punch combination! Paul moves into the clinch successfully.
Nice body punch from Paul. Paul has Kerrr pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Paul pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kerrr tumbling to the mat - Paul dives into Kerrr's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kerrr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Paul throws a strike but Kerrr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Paul looking for a sweep. Not yet Paul, not yet. London Paul has got the better of the ground game so far. Kerrr slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kerrr trying to control the position from guard on top but Paul is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerrr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Paul looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Paul looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Paul! Paul has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kerrr throws a head kick that misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Kerrr. Kerrr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Paul paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kerrr closes the distance and clinches up with Paul, looking for a takedown. Kerrr pushes Paul against the cage but Paul circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Paul bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kerrr's head backwards. Nice sprawl there from Paul as Kerrr shoots in. Kerrr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marc Kerrr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Paul throws a right and a left that both miss. A combination from Kerrr does no damage. Kerrr shoots in for a takedown but Paul shows good takedown defense.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Paul finds it's way through Kerrr's defenses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Paul moves into the clinch. Paul lands a hook that snaps the head of Kerrr backwards. Paul lands a nice uppercut. Paul slows down the pace here.
Paul digs a right hand into Kerrr's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kerrr's gas tank. Paul lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kerrr backwards. Paul lands a nice uppercut. Paul lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Paul throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Paul misses with a series of wild punches.
Kerrr tries for a takedown but Paul circles away easily and Paul counters with a stiff right hand. Paul is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kerrr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Paul circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kerrr connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Paul! He's out on his feet! Kerrr rushes in and drops Paul with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marc Kerrr!
