0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Victor Fernandez! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernandez wants to clinch up but Green keeps it at a distance. A jab from Green misses. Fernandez fakes the leg kick and cracks Green in the body. Victor Fernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fernandez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Green is trying to defend but Fernandez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Green bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Green is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fernandez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Green is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Green passes Fernandez's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Green throws an overhand right that lands on Fernandez's shoulder, as Fernandez tries to avoid the shot. Fernandez forces Green back against the cage and clinches. Green working hard to break the clinch. Green escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Green ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fernandez moves away. Fernandez connects with a high kick. Fernandez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Green is fending him off so far but Fernandez persists. Nope, Green circles away and we're back to standing. Green misses with a looping left. Green scores with a decent looking hook. Green changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fernandez is breathing heavily. Green working the ground and pound. Fernandez tries to bench press Green off him but Green keeps the position. Fernandez is not content to let Green control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fernandez tries to improve position but can't. Fernandez is working to avoid the ground and pound but Green connects with a decent elbow. Fernandez is not content to let Green control the position. Green is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fernandez has escaped the position, nice work there. Fernandez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Green has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Green wants to control but Fernandez is keeping him busy. Fernandez is trying to buck Green off. Green trying to control the position but Fernandez is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Green staying calm. Green tries to score with some ground and pound. Fernandez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Green tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Green has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fernandez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Green dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Green has a takedown stuffed. Fernandez tries to close the distance and clinch but Green swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fernandez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fernandez's waist but Fernandez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. Green takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Fernandez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Green's guard. Fernandez wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Green is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Green sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fernandez's guard. Green trying to control from half guard but Fernandez is working away. Green works his way into full mount! Green sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Green lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fernandez is bucking up trying to escape but Green cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Green with shots to the head and body - Fernandez looks very uncomfortable down there. Fernandez wants to control but Green is having none of it. Green can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fernandez is looking to escape. Fernandez taking shots to the head. Green throwing strikes here but Fernandez is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Green lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Fernandez hang on? Green takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Fernandez really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Green misses with a head shot. Green is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fernandez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fernandez shrugs it off. Green landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green with the ground and pound from mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Green cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Green cracks Fernandez with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Green fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Green working away from the top, dropping strikes. Green can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fernandez is looking to escape. Green unloading with bombs!
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Green showed his dominance in that final round. I think Green has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
