Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Tupper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Abrafo Dabney! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dabney lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dabney fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Dabney with that takedown attempt. Dabney shoots in but Tupper avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bobby Tupper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abrafo Dabney. Tupper avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dabney looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dabney fails to land with a series of punches.
Tupper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dabney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tupper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tupper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Tupper throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dabney works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper trying to control the action but Dabney is working from the bottom. Tupper trying to mount his opponent but Dabney defends it. Tupper is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dabney wants to improve his position but Tupper is controlling well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tupper trying to control the action but Dabney is working from the bottom.
Tupper is looking for a kimura but Dabney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tupper to get the leverage.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tupper shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Tupper is breathing heavily. Tupper is looking to take a break and control but Dabney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tupper is looking to advance position but Dabney won't allow it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tupper stops Dabney from getting back to his feet.

Tupper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dabney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tupper wants to control from the top but Dabney keeps moving.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dabney managing to control the position.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dabney shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tupper decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dabney's guard. Tupper won't allow Dabney to get back to his feet. Tupper looking to sit in guard and control but Dabney gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Tupper working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dabney. Dabney wants to stand but Tupper has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dabney throwing strikes from guard but Tupper blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Tupper dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Tupper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dabney won't be happy with that. Dabney is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tupper connects with a decent elbow. Tupper is looking to take a break and control but Dabney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tupper wants to control for a moment but Dabney uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Tupper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dabney keeps working. Tupper is stalling here. Dabney is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tupper seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dabney has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dabney throws a strike aimed at the side of Tupper's head but Tupper avoids it well. Dabney lands a few punches from side control. Dabney tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Tupper tries to improve position but can't. Dabney lands some shots froms side control. Dabney working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Tupper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dabney on the ground. Tupper is trying to control Dabney's posture but Dabney avoids it. Dabney throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Dabney tries to stand but Tupper is controlling his head. Dabney scoring with punches from side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dabney misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

and Tupper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dabney keeping moving, preventing Tupper from controlling successfully. Dabney looking to control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dabney wants to stand but Tupper is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dabney is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tupper drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dabney looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dabney looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dabney! Dabney in side control, throwing shots but Tupper defends.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tupper is not content to let Dabney control the position. Bobby Tupper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tupper struggling a bit here. Tupper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tupper tries to get out of the position. Tupper dodges the ground and pound from Dabney. Tupper wants to control but Dabney postures up. Dabney tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dabney wants to stand but Tupper has his arm trapped.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tupper shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dabney defends it nicely. Dabney gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tupper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dabney won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Tupper thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dabney to regain full guard. Dabney keeping moving, preventing Tupper from controlling successfully. Dabney is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dabney wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tupper would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tupper ducks under a wild hook from Dabney. The fighters circle momentarily. Dabney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Dabney doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tupper counters with a shoot takedown. Dabney fights it but they end up in guard. Dabney working a defensive guard here.
Tupper wanted to stand there but Dabney had control of the position. Dabney is pulling down on Tupper's head to control his posture.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dabney is on top in guard.
Dabney tries to stand but Tupper is controlling from the bottom. Dabney advances to half guard. Tupper trying to control from the bottom.
Tupper is trying to get back to full guard. Dabney not landing any meaningful shots this time. Tupper wants to improve his position but Dabney is controlling well.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dabney tries to stand but can't do so whilst Tupper controls his leg. Dabney is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tupper!

Tupper slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Abrafo Dabney has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bobby Tupper is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. It looks like Dabney is going to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Tupper. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tupper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
