Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Grello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Heath's choice of entrance music: Asche zu Asche. Will Grello has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grello scores with a hook to the body. Heath takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Heath avoids the body shot from Grello.
Grello tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heath was well out of range. Poor timing from Grello.
Grello throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Grello throws a hook to the side of Heath's head but Heath sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Grello fails to land with a series of punches.
Grello is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heath.
Grello throws a shot from downtown. Heath moves away and avoids it.
Grello throws a right hand that Heath ducks under and follows up with a left that Heath also avoids with ease.

Heath steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grello.
Grello throws a hook but Heath blocks it.
Nice sprawl there from Grello as Heath shoots in.

Grello is looking for a sweep.
Heath wants to control but Grello is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Heath has a takedown stuffed.
Grello misses with a wild body shot.
Heath connects with a solid leg kick.
Grello swings for the body but Heath moves out of range.
Grello thows a left - swing and a miss!
Heath throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Heath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Will Grello has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uriah Heath.
Grello lands a nice shot that snaps Heath's head back.
It looks like Uriah Heath has been cut.
Grello takes a swing at Heath's ribcage but misses.

Grello fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Heath looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Grello stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grello wants it to stay on the feet.
Grello lands with an uppercut that bounces Heath off the cage and back into rage.
Grello digs a good hook to Heath's body.

That's time! Grello's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Heath throws a head kick but Grello moves out of range.
Grello leaves Heath with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Heath shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Heath shoots in looking for a takedown. Grello tries to sprawl out of it but Heath keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grello manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Heath on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Grello throws a half hearted mid kick.
Heath tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Grello is able to avoid easily.
Grello lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Heath shoots for a takedown but Grello saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Grello has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Heath is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Heath counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grello's guard now.
Heath is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
