Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Rocher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocher comes to the cage accompanied by We Will Rock You. David Rocher has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rocher fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quinn swings for the body but Rocher moves out of range.
Quinn closes the distance looking to clinch and Rocher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Quinn won't be happy with that. Quinn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rocher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rocher just content to control the position. Rocher connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Quinn some visible discomfort.
Rocher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rocher decides to stand back up. Rocher steps back and let's Quinn get back to his feet. Quinn clinches up with Rocher and pushes him back against the cage. Quinn tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rocher wants the takedown. Quinn is fighting it off but Rocher persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quinn's guard against the cage. Quinn wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rocher manages to pass to side control. Quinn looks gassed! Rocher is trying to work for a kimura but Quinn is defending well.
Rocher is keen to just control but Quinn is a slippery customer. Rocher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Rocher is looking to advance position but Quinn won't allow it. Rocher blocks the strikes from Quinn.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocher thows a huge punch but Quinn dodges it nicely.
Rocher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rocher tries to clinch up but Quinn circles away and keeps his distance. Quinn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Quinn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rocher tries to close the distance and clinch but Quinn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Quinn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rocher keeps the fight on the outside. Rocher throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Quinn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rocher shoots in and bounces Quinn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rocher is in close to Quinn's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Quinn is rocked! Rocher is pushing down on Quinn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Quinn is fighting to maintain full guard but Rocher has managed to sneak the leg through. Quinn wants to get back to full guard. Rocher trying to mount his opponent but Quinn defends it. Quinn trying to control but Rocher postures up.
Quinn tries to roll over but Rocher keeps him under control. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rocher connects with a nice short shot to Quinn's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocher is looking to stall here but Quinn recovers full guard. Quinn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rocher controls the pace. Quinn wants to stand and escape but Rocher is having none of it. Rocher postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rocher looking to pass the guard. Quinn trying to control the position.
Rocher thows a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Rocher dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rocher looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rocher is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rocher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rocher working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rocher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quinn keeps working. Quinn tries to kick Rocher off in order to stand up. Rocher Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Quinn seems a little lost for a moment, as Rocher dominates the positioning. Rocher scoring with punches and elbows. Rocher landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Quinn is still in real trouble! Can Rocher finish him? Rocher decides to stand back up. Rocher steps back and let's Quinn get back to his feet. Rocher misses with a body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn wants to clinch but Rocher slips to the side and Rocher counters with a shoot takedown. Quinn fights it but they end up in guard. Quinn working for a triangle but Rocher defends it easily.
Rocher passes into half guard. Quinn seems to have recovered his senses. Quinn is not content to let Rocher control the position. Quinn regains full guard. Nicely done. Quinn wants to sweep here but Rocher controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocher trying to control but Quinn is working from the bottom. Rocher keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Quinn's head. Rocher controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rocher is looking to work some ground and pound but Quinn has wrist control. Rocher preventing the sweep. Rocher content to stall in guard here. Quinn keeping full guard, as Rocher tries to pass. Rocher trying to control but Quinn is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocher seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rocher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Quinn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rocher has Quinn in his guard. Quinn gets to his feet - Rocher follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rocher shoots for a takedown but Quinn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rocher throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Rocher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Rocher sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Quinn is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Quinn is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rocher wants to finish this one by submission but Quinn is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rocher. Rocher wants to control the pace but Quinn is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Rocher dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Quinn fails with the takedown. Rocher tries to clinch but fails miserably and Quinn counters with an inside leg kick. Rocher throws a combination that misses and Quinn counters by moving into the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Rocher has a couple of punches blocked by Quinn.
Quinn lands a damaging elbow. Rocher is trying to break free. Rocher can't find room to land a body shot as Quinn controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinn looking for a takedown. Quinn tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Quinn prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rocher tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Quinn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rocher blocks it with crossed arms. Quinn lands an elbow inside. Quinn tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Quinn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quinn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rocher's guard. Quinn is looking to stand up but Rocher won't let him. Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Rocher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rocher is pulling down on Quinn's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocher wants to sweep but no luck. David Rocher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rocher has his foot on Quinn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quinn works his way back into a safe position though. Quinn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Quinn forces his way into half guard. Rocher is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Rocher works his way to full guard. Good work. Rocher looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Quinn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Quinn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Quinn wants to stand but Rocher has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Quinn stands up from Rocher's guard - Quinn perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocher rushes Quinn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rocher is trying to break free. Rocher misses with a hook to the ribs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rocher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quinn paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rocher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rocher showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! David Rocher showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rocher, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
