Shirahama comes to the cage accompanied by Best Of You. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Elbows looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Shirahama postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Elbows is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shirahama, into his guard.

Shirahama pushes Elbows off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Elbows tries to clinch up but Shirahama circles away and keeps his distance.

Shirahama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Elbows is just riding it out for now. Shirahama eventually gives up the hold.

Shirahama is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Elbows defends it well.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Shirahama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shirahama showed some decent athleticism there.
Elbows is trying to maintain the position but Shirahama is very close to passing his half guard.

Shirahama seems to be working for a kimura but Elbows defends the submission attempt.
Shirahama is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Shirahama thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Elbows is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Elbows accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Elbows throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shirahama wants to stand up but Elbows is controlling him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
