Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chew Baka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Silva! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a right hand that Baka ducks under and follows up with a left that Baka also avoids with ease. Silva tries to bum rush Baka with a series of wild strikes but Baka uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva scores with a body shot.
Silva digs a good hook to Baka's body.
Baka is breathing heavily. Silva connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Baka's hands. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Silva drops his shoulder and cracks Baka with a huge uppercut! Baka goes down! Can Silva finish him?
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Baka is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baka manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Baka's guard. Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Silva throwing strikes but missing. Silva controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitor Silva dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Silva throws a right and a left that Baka avoids nicely. Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Baka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Silva.
Baka walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baka circles away quickly and effectively. Silva looks to land a combination but Baka avoids it well. Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Vitor Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Baka fails with the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Baka on that attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Baka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baka drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Silva misses with a double jab.
Baka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chew Baka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there. Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva working the head and body with strikes. Silva performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitor Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Baka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Baka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Silva misses with a double jab.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces Baka off the cage and back into rage. Silva drops Baka with a nice combination! Silva dives into Baka's guard, looking to finish!
Baka is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva stands up from Baka's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout. Oh Baka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva misses with the combination.
Baka seems to have got his legs back now. Vitor Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baka takes one to the chin there. Silva lands a slapping body shot.
Silva scores a takedown into full mount! Silva is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baka to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baka shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva lands a heavy elbow. Silva controlling his opponent. Baka is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Vitor Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Vitor Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
