Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Allochka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Am Perfection by Cage 9. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricky Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexi Allochka!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allochka throws a looping overhand right but Lee ducks down to avoid it.
Allochka throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.
Allochka blocks a jab.
Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Allochka pushes him off.
Allochka throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allochka as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Allochka napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Allochka is trying to get back to his feet.

Lee cracks Allochka with a big elbow.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allochka as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Allochka misses with a looping right.
Lee fails to land the takedown.
Allochka throws a hook but Lee blocks it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Allochka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Lee lands a nice shot that snaps Allochka's head back.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lee dives in and grabs Allochka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Allochka pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Allochka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fighters circling - Allochka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lee showed some decent athleticism there.

Lee is nestled in close to Allochka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allochka tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allochka to the ground. Allochka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Allochka sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Allochka.

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Allochka is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lee is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Allochka is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Allochka is trying to stand up here but Lee is controlling him well.

Lee is pressing down on Allochka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Allochka is holding on for now.

Lee working over Allochka with some ground and pound. Allochka looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Lee is trying to control. Allochka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lee is looking to stall here but Allochka recovers full guard.

Lee postures up in Allochka's guard and throws a big left but Allochka blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Allochka is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Allochka works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Allochka wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Allochka throws a big shot that misses.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Allochka avoids it really well and circles away.
Lee slips under a jab from Allochka.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ricky Lee dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
