Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Porechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ury Sigaretov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ury Sigaretov! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sigaretov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sigaretov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Porechkin pinned against the cage. Porechkin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Porechkin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Porechkin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Porechkin putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sigaretov wants to control but Porechkin is having none of it. Porechkin prevents Sigaretov from getting the reversal. Porechkin controlling the position easily from mount. Sigaretov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Porechkin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sigaretov tries to clinch but Porechkin moves out of range. Porechkin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Porechkin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sigaretov's shoulder. That is not cool. Sigaretov taking punishment in the form of punches.
Porechkin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sigaretov keeps working. Sigaretov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Porechkin.

Alexander Porechkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A nice elbow there by Porechkin. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sigaretov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sigaretov tries to lock up and control but Porechkin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sigaretov regains half guard. Porechkin lands with a punch from half guard. Well, if Porechkin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Porechkin wants to control the pace but Sigaretov is squirming around nicely. Sigaretov is trying desperately to improve position. Sigaretov is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sigaretov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sigaretov can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Porechkin landing shots from mount. Sigaretov tries to get back to half guard but can't. Porechkin raining down shots from the mount! Sigaretov throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Porechkin cracks Sigaretov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Sigaretov fails in his attempt to clinch. Porechkin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sigaretov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sigaretov. Porechkin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sigaretov.

Sigaretov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Porechkin uses from the top position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sigaretov holds on and takes a little breather. Porechkin sitting in guard, not really doing much. Porechkin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Porechkin passes Sigaretov's left leg - he's now in half guard. Porechkin stalling away here and it's allowed Sigaretov to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Porechkin trying to control but Sigaretov is working from the bottom. Sigaretov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Porechkin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sigaretov's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Porechkin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sigaretov trying to keep a closed guard but Porechkin is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Porechkin stands and throws Sigaretov's legs to the side, diving into side control. Porechkin trying to control the position but Sigaretov is working away. Sigaretov tries to improve position but can't. Sigaretov is working to avoid the ground and pound but Porechkin connects with a decent elbow. Porechkin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Sigaretov regains half guard. Porechkin not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Porechkin scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sigaretov wants to control but Porechkin is keeping busy.
Porechkin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Sigaretov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Porechkin is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Porechkin trying to control the pace. And that's the end of the fight! Alexander Porechkin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Porechkin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
