Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dios comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Via Dios! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Hart! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dios tries to clinch up. Dios rushes Hart and presses him up against the cage. Dios connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Steve Hart has been cut. Dios looking to throw knees to the head but Hart is blocking nicely.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dios. Dios with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dios stands up and beckons Hart to his feet. Hart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dios decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hart's guard. Hart looks gassed! Hart not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dios wants to get up but he can't break Hart's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hart is looking to sweep but instead, Dios has passed into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dios is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dios can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dios postures up.

That sent Hart stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dios drives through with a takedown into guard. Dios has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dios avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hart uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dios.
Hart tries for a takedown but Dios circles away easily and Dios counters by clinching up. Dios is looking to control Hart's arms but Hart gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dios has his back to the cage. Dios using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hart has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Dios turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dios manages to end up in side control. Hart tries to buck Dios off but Dios is having none of it. Dios looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hart tries to bench press Dios off him but Dios keeps the position. Hart struggling a bit here. Hart manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dios's best efforts. Hart is trying is best to control the position here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Via Dios overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hart looking for subs from the bottom but Dios mounts him! Hart is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dios manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hart to take his back! Dios controls the action. Hart trying to control the hands but Dios breaks the grip. Hart rolls, trying to escape but Dios keeps control of the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dios lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Dios working for a choke but Hart is defending well. Hart can't escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
And that's the end of the fight! Via Dios showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dios has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
