The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Charalambis dives in and grabs Fergurson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fergurson pushes down on Charalambis's head and hops out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Fergurson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Charalambis walks away with a smile on his face. Fergurson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Horrible takedown by Charalambis or perhaps it was just good defense by Fergurson which made him look bad.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Charalambis.

Charalambis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Savvas Charalambis.
I think Charalambis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
