The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monty fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Anderson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Monty manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Anderson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Monty manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anderson has Monty in his guard. Monty is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Anderson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Anderson has escaped and now he's on top! Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Monty dives on top into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson looking for a guillotine here but Monty defends easily.
Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Anderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Monty loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Monty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Monty is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Anderson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Anderson is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Monty as he works his way to full guard.
Anderson looking to pass the guard. Anderson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Monty tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Anderson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Anderson looks gassed! Anderson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Monty has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Anderson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Monty keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Monty gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Anderson gets to his feet. Monty looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Mercury Monty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Monty has his takedown stuffed and Anderson counters with a shoot takedown. Monty fights it but they end up in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Anderson forces his way into half guard. Anderson gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Danny Anderson has got the better of the ground game so far. Anderson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Monty is looking to escape. Anderson is looking for a kimura here.
Monty has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Monty dives on top into guard. Monty trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Monty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Monty is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Monty doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Monty manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Anderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Monty stopping the sweep attempt from Anderson. Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Monty defends it easily. Monty wants to get up but he can't break Anderson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Monty missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Danny Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Monty with a flurry of punches that miss. Anderson working for a triangle but Monty defends it easily.
Monty tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Danny Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Anderson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
