Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Winky Monk!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Monk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adamek somewhat.
Adamek shoots in and drives through. Monk sprawls well.
Monk misses with a leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adamek is defended easily by Monk.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomasz Adamek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Adamek with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adamek has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adamek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Monk pinned against the cage. Monk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Adamek swats away the attempt to clinch by Monk.
Adamek closes the distance and clinches up with Monk, looking for a takedown. Adamek pushes Monk against the ropes but Monk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Monk steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Adamek is out on his feet! Monk sets himself and nearly takes Adamek's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Winky Monk!
