Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni Torregrossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers has chosen Halloween-Rob Zombie as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Myers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Torregrossa with a knee to the head.
Torregrossa is trying to break the clinch but Myers has him pressed against the cage.
Torregrossa wants to break free but Myers has control.
Torregrossa breaks from the clinch.
Myers tries to clinch but Torregrossa is having none of it.
Torregrossa throws a head kick but Myers moves out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Myers.
Torregrossa can't do much from the bottom here.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Myers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Torregrossa keeps working.
Myers is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Myers decides to stand back up. Myers steps back and let's Torregrossa get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Myers shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Torregrossa defends it nicely.
Myers takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Myers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Myers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Torregrossa, pushing him back against the cage.
Torregrossa is trying to break the clinch but Myers has him pressed against the cage.
Myers tightens his grip and picks Torregrossa up, before dumping him to the ground. Torregrossa manages to land in guard.

Myers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Myers thows a big elbow that misses.
Torregrossa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Myers is controlling him.
Myers throwing strikes from guard but Torregrossa blocks nicely.
Myers drops back looking for a leg! Torregrossa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Torregrossa manages to kick Myers off! Myers jumps back into Torregrossa's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Myers tries to free his leg and advance position but Torregrossa is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Myers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Torregrossa circles away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Myers drives through and clinches with Torregrossa against the cage.
Myers jumps guard but Torregrossa stands there with Myers around his waist. Myers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Myers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Torregrossa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Torregrossa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Myers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Torregrossa's guard.

Myers wants to control from the top but Torregrossa keeps moving.
Myers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Torregrossa kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Myers is looking to work some ground and pound but Torregrossa has wrist control.
Myers gets to his feet - Torregrossa follows without any prompting.

Myers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Myers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torregrossa walks away with a smile on his face. Myers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Myers shoots in looking for a takedown. Torregrossa tries to sprawl out of it but Myers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torregrossa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Myers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Myers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Torregrossa but Torregrossa pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Myers is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Myers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
