Brownie is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Bobby couture looks lathargic as he enters the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. couture manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
couture looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brownie drops back looking for a leg! couture is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and couture manages to kick Brownie off! Brownie jumps back into couture's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
couture seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
couture trying to keep a closed guard but Brownie is proving a slippery customer.

Brownie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but couture manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brownie has couture in his guard.
Brownie pushes a forearm under couture's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, couture is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
