Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Silver! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silver tries a low kick but Silva avoids it. Silva throws a right hand that Silver ducks under and follows up with a left that Silver also avoids with ease. Silver tries to work over Silva's front leg with a kick but Silva checks it. Silva is looking to clinch but Silver is avoiding it.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice hook. Chad Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silver throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily. Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Silver throws a left and a right that both miss
and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silver! Silva is working for a guillotine from mount but Silver frees his head quite easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Silver has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Silva trying to control. Silver holding both Silva 's hands and preventing any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva tries to get the hooks in deep but Silver pushed the leg off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver wants to get back to his feet. Silver prevents Silva from getting a body triangle. Silva connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Silver to escape the position.
Silver is trying to shake Silva off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Silva won't be happy about giving up the dominant position. Silver looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silver throws a lazy head kick and Silva counters by clinching up. Silver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Silver throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. Silva fails to land the takedown. Silva shoots in and bounces Silver off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silver swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silver wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva pushes down on Silver's leg and manages to get into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carlos Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva throws a combination that misses and Silver counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Silver lands a nice looking body shot.

Silva with a poor takedown and Silver counters with a slapping leg kick. A head kick misses from Silver. Silva scores with a hook to the body. Silver takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Silva is looking to slow Silver down with leg kicks. Silver lands a jab. Silver throws a chopping leg kick but Silva manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good standup being displayed there by Silver as he connects with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silver fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Silver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Silver goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Silva on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Silver pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Silva slips under a jab. Silver circles away from the clinch attempt and Silver counters with a left and a right that stings Silva. Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Silver is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Silva manages to move to mount!
Silver wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The referee warns Silver that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Silva landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Silva landing strikes from the mount and Silver is in trouble! Silver's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Silva manages to capitalize on a mistake by Silver to take his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silver has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Carlos Silva will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silver lands a nice leg kick that just misses Silva's sensitive parts.

and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silver's guard. Silver is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea. Silva wants to control from the top but Silver keeps moving. Silver wriggles free and stands up.

Silver throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.
A left and a right from Silver both land. Nice combination. Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Silver moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Silver misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver wants to get back to his feet. Silver is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Silva wants to pass to mount but Silver is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silva is keen to just control but Silver is a slippery customer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silver scores with a jab to the head.

and Silver counters with a stiff right hand. Silva walks into a jab. Silver throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Chad Silver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carlos Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Silver breaks from the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Carlos Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
