Labont's entrance music is Bad Religion's Walk Away. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbon misses with a two punch combination.
A right-left combo lands from Labont.
Labont throws a right and a left that Ribbon avoids nicely.
No joy there for Labont, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Labont is breathing heavily.
Ribbon drops Labont with a right and a left! Ribbon comes rushing in but Labont regains his composure and manages to keep Ribbon in guard.

Labont is rocked!

It looks like Pierre Labont has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Labont has momentary wrist control but Ribbon slips an elbow through the middle.
Oh Labont is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ribbon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Ribbon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Labont. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ribbon gets to his feet. Labont looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ribbon lands with a big right hook that stumbles Labont - he's out on his feet here! Ribbon follows up with another monster hook that separates Labont from consciousness! Labont falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ribbon stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Blue Ribbon!
