Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brent Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brent Mcneil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bull Dogg! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dogg lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Brent Mcneil has been cut. Mcneil slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Mcneil closes the distance and clinches. Mcneil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mcneil misses with a wild combination.
Dogg throws a solid leg kick but Mcneil takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dogg. Dogg avoids the head kick by Mcneil.
Mcneil pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brent Mcneil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcneil throws a head kick that misses. Mcneil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dogg swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dogg circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcneil scores with a body shot.
Horrible takedown by Mcneil or perhaps it was just good defense by Dogg which made him look bad. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mcneil tries to clinch there but Dogg circles away.
Mcneil is looking to clinch. Mcneil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice sprawl there from Dogg as Mcneil shoots in. Dogg misses with a low kick as Mcneil jumps back.
That's one minute gone in the round. A shot to de liver by Mcneil. Beautiful body shot. Mcneil shoots in looking for a takedown. Dogg tries to sprawl out of it but Mcneil keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dogg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Mcneil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcneil is breathing heavily. Mcneil shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mcneil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dogg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dogg shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dogg showed some decent athleticism there. Dogg stalling. Dogg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mcneil's head. Dogg frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dogg controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I looks like Dogg might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcneil wants to control but Dogg is having none of it. Dogg punishing his opponent with strikes. Dogg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Bull Dogg just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mcneil misses with a takedown attempt and Dogg holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dogg lands a shot to the body. Dogg digs a right hand underneath Mcneil's ribcage. Mcneil let out a lung full of air as it connected. Mcneil drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dogg gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A right handed body shot lands from Dogg.
Mcneil wants a takedown but no success here.

Dogg keeps control of Mcneil as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mcneil breaks the clinch.
Mcneil misses with a combination
and Dogg holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nice body punch from Dogg - that landed with a thud.
Mcneil wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mcneil has clasped his hands together around Dogg's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dogg pushes Mcneil away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mcneil gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dogg tries to bench press Mcneil off him but Mcneil keeps the position. Mcneil working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Dogg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mcneil off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Dogg dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brent Mcneil's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mcneil throws a push kick but Dogg slaps the foot to one side. Nice uppercut lands for Mcneil. That snapped Dogg's head back.
Mcneil throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mcneil rushes Dogg and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dogg is looking to control Mcneil's arms but Mcneil gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dogg has his back to the cage. Mcneil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dogg swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mcneil moves in looking to clinch but Dogg pushes him off. Mcneil is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dogg. Dogg throws a right and a left that both miss. Mcneil throws and low kick but Dogg moves out of range easily. Dogg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dogg is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Mcneil is trying to get back to half guard. Dogg controls the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Dogg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dogg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcneil to his feet. Mcneil wants to clinch and Dogg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mcneil won't be happy with that. An elbow from Dogg crashes against the mat.
Dogg is staying tight to Mcneil's torso, preventing him from escaping. Dogg's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dogg tries to move into full mount but can't pass Mcneil's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dogg takes a little break here. Mcneil wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Mcneil sneaks back into half guard. Mcneil wants to control but Dogg is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mcneil is trying to get back to full guard. Dogg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcneil flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dogg in particular looking to stall.

Brent Mcneil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mcneil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dogg swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mcneil fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Mcneil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mcneil has his takedown stuffed and Dogg counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

It looks like Bull Dogg has been cut. Mcneil lands a with a good body shot. Mcneil changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dogg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dogg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mcneil's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dogg is trying to stand up here but Mcneil is controlling him well. Dogg has a hand on Mcneil's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mcneil takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Dogg is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dogg tries to lock up and control but Mcneil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Mcneil prevents Dogg from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Dogg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mcneil has his takedown stuffed and Dogg counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mcneil has had enough of the clinch but Dogg keeps him there for the moment. Dogg manages to break the clinch.
Mcneil with a poor takedown and Dogg counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dogg. Dogg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dogg throws a jab but it's blocked by Mcneil. Dogg throws a leg kick which misses Mcneil's front leg but catches the back leg as Mcneil tries to avoid it. Dogg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dogg lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Brent Mcneil is winning the standup battle so far. Mcneil walks into a straight right hand from Dogg. Dogg circles away from the clinch attempt and Dogg counters with a series of strikes. Mcneil will be more careful next time no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Dogg as Mcneil shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Mcneil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dogg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcneil tries to avoid it but Dogg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcneil to the ground. Mcneil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dogg takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mcneil tries to clinch but Dogg is having none of it. Dogg fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcneil lands a head kick that stumbles Dogg and the fighters go to the mat.
Dogg is rocked! Dogg has control of Mcneil's left arm, preventing Mcneil from doing any damage. Dogg is still in real trouble! Can Mcneil finish him? Bull Dogg has got the better of the ground game so far. Dogg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dogg seems to have recovered his senses. Dogg controls Mcneil momentarily but Mcneil frees himself. Mcneil wants to stand but Dogg has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mcneil trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Mcneil won't allow Dogg to sweep him here. Mcneil is fighting to break Dogg's control of his arms but Dogg is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mcneil throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dogg fails to land with a series of punches.
Mcneil thuds a left hand into Dogg's body. Mcneil shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A combination from Dogg does no damage. Dogg looks to land a combination. Mcneil sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Dogg swinging wilding here.
Dogg misses with a double jab
and Dogg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mcneil doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dogg counters by clinching up. Dogg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcneil waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Dogg. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Dogg to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Mcneil trying to control the position from guard on top but Dogg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dogg controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcneil throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dogg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dogg is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mcneil stopping the sweep attempt from Dogg. Dogg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcneil's guard. Dogg stays in close to Mcneil's body and controls the position. Dogg looking to sit in guard and control but Mcneil gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dogg is trying to control the position but Mcneil postures up.

Mcneil with a lazy takedown attempt and Dogg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mcneil's guard now. Mcneil is trying to keep Dogg in close.
Mcneil is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dogg controlling from the top position. Brent Mcneil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bull Dogg. I've got Dogg winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
