Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Query (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Megan Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Megan Fox told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Megan Fox!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Query lands a jab to the nose.
A jab from Query misses.
Fox misses with a low kick as Query jumps back.
Fox jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fox avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Query is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fox's half guard.
Query takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fox is trying is best to control the position here.
Query wants to free his trapped foot but Fox is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Query keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Fox wants to improve his position but Query is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fox moves forwards but Query connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Query shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fox napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fox is trying to work for a sweep but Query has mounted him!
Fox sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Fox lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Query!
Fox goes for an armbar but Query turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Query.

Despite being in the dominant position, Megan Fox just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Query makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Fox drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fox is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Query is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Query has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Query has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
