Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RaFilsQ Soha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Soha closes the distance and clinches.
Mayweather looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mayweather misses with a punch to the body.

Mayweather breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Soha shoots in looking for a takedown. Mayweather tries to sprawl out of it but Soha keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mayweather manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mayweather throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Floyd Mayweather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soha fails with the takedown.
Mayweather misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Soha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Despite being in the dominant position, RaFilsQ Soha just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Soha fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Soha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mayweather but Mayweather pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Floyd Mayweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RaFilsQ Soha.
Mayweather throws a series of punches but Soha avoids them all with ease.

RaFilsQ Soha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Soha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Soha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mayweather's waist but Mayweather gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soha off to one side.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Soha. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Soha feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Let's hope that Soha has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

RaFilsQ Soha is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Soha is taking a breather. Mayweather says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
