The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veber has a takedown stuffed.
Martin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Martin seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Veber is looking for a sweep. Martin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Martin stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Veber to get to his feet.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt
and Veber counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Veber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Veber tries for a kimura but Martin is defending well.

Martin tries to buck Veber off but Veber is having none of it.
Veber swings around for an armbar but Martin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Veber's guard.
Veber pushes a forearm under Martin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Martin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
