Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silent Kyodasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabiano Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyodasha is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Silent Kyodasha is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabiano Costa!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Costa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kyodasha!
Kyodasha is breathing heavily.
Costa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I looks like Costa might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Costa throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Despite being in the dominant position, Fabiano Costa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Costa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kyodasha is trying to defend but Costa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Kyodasha has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kyodasha covering up well and avoiding damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyodasha gets underhooks to prevent Costa's takedown attempt.
Costa has Kyodasha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kyodasha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silent Kyodasha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabiano Costa.
Costa goes for a takedown attempt but Kyodasha pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Costa clinches up with Kyodasha and pushes him back against the cage.
Costa wants a takedown.

Costa has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kyodasha uses from the top position.

Costa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Costa uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fabiano Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Costa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kyodasha looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Costa is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kyodasha can't fight it off and eventually Costa manages to take the fight to the floor. Kyodasha looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Costa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fabiano Costa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Costa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
