The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat shoots in but no luck this time.
Horvat cracks Victorino with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Horvat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Victorino is fending him off so far but Horvat persists. Nope, Victorino circles away and we're back to standing.

Victorino clinches with his opponent.
Victorino tries to break the clinch but Horvat is controlling the position.
Horvat tries to pull guard but Victorino holds him up against the cage and eventually Horvat drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mihael Horvat. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Victorino pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horvat slips a jab and a cross from Victorino.
Victorino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Victorino breaks from the clinch.
Raul Victorino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horvat takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Horvat shoots in for a takedown but Victorino shows good takedown defense.
Horvat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Victorino loads up on a big right hand but Horvat slips the punch.

and Victorino counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Horvat is breathing heavily.
Victorino connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
