Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russo comes to the cage accompanied by Destroy Everything. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Russo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Russo is chipping away with strikes.
Russo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Russo looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mack is avoiding damage well.
Russo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sloppy strikes there by Russo. Mack regains half guard. Russo trying to pass the guard but Mack defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo slows the pace down in half guard. Mack is trying to get back to full guard. Russo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mack knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Russo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mack keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mack will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Russo misses. Russo closes the distance and clinches up with Mack, looking for a takedown. Russo pushes Mack against the cage but Mack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mack looks to land a combination but Russo avoids it well. Russo slips a straight right by Mack. Mack misses with a hook. Mack throws a lazy right hand but Russo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Russo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Russo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mack knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mack is refusing to be controlled, as Russo sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo thows a huge punch but Mack dodges it nicely.
Russo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mack's head. Russo is looking to take a break and control but Mack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Russo throwing shots but Mack is blocking nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Russo is trying to control. Mack wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Russo scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Russo shoots in but Mack avoids the takedown attempt easily. Russo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Russo misses with a head shot. Russo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Mack tries to reverse the position but Russo maintains control. Russo misses with some ground and pound and Mack recovers position to half guard. Russo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Russo sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A looping hook to the body misses from Mack. Russo does a little dance to reset his feet. Russo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mack wants to land a leg kick but Russo is out of range. Russo slips under a jab. Mack scores with a hook to the body. Russo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Russo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mack moves away. Rodney Mack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mack swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Russo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Russo is keen to just control but Mack is a slippery customer. Mack has his hands clasped together around Russo's back. He's all about the action. Russo with the ground and pound but Mack uses the opportunity to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Russo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jimmy Russo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Russo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Russo. Russo is working Mack over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Mack is trying to keep Russo in close.
Russo lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mack looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Russo throws and elbow that misses. Mack uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Russo's guard. Nice move by Mack!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Russo is on top in guard.

Jimmy Russo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Russo tries to free his leg and advance position but Mack is retaining full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Russo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Russo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
