The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart tries to clinch there but JoMack circles away.
JoMack looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hart gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hart tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hart tries to land knees in the clinch but JoMack avoids the damage to the body.

Hart throws a hook but JoMack blocks it.

JoMack might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hart kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and JoMack counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hart!

JoMack is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hart is surviving well by controlling JoMack's body position as best he can.

Hart tries to lock up and control but JoMack gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hart swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Hart seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
JoMack can't keep his opponent in guard - Hart advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks JoMack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hart is pressing down on JoMack's thigh, looking to free his foot. JoMack is holding on for now.

Hart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but JoMack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
