Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Spiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav stiengratz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says stiengratz as he avoids it easily.
Spiller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between stiengratz's hands.
stiengratz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Spiller counters with a nice double leg into guard.
stiengratz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
stiengratz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Spiller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. stiengratz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spiller stalling away here and it's allowed stiengratz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

stiengratz has his feet on Spiller's thighs here. He's pushed Spiller off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Spiller screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
