Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pain Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Violence Fetish by Disturbed as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pain Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer tries to clinch but Johnson is having none of it.
Killer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Killer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Killer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson misses with a few strikes there.

Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Killer moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killer moves away.
Trey Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnson looks to land a body kick but Killer moved away.
Killer tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Killer moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.

and Killer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Killer is trying to break free.
Killer is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnson wants to stall.
Johnson lands a right hand.
Killer avoiding damage as Johnson throws knees to the body.
Killer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Killer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Johnson is looking to control Killer's arms but Killer gets an underhook and turns him. Now Johnson has his back to the cage.
Killer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pain Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Killer's takedown attempt.
Johnson landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Johnson tries to land knees in the clinch but Killer avoids the damage to the body.
Johnson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Johnson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Johnson tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Killer avoids it.
Johnson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Killer tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Killer drops back down to his feet.

Killer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Johnson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Killer is looking to break free of the clinch but Johnson has double underhooks.

It looks like Pain Killer has been cut.
Killer tries for a takedown. No joy.
Killer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Killer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Johnson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trey Johnson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pain Killer's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Johnson lands with a kick to the temple. Killer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Johnson misses with a double jab

and Killer moves into the clinch.
Killer has Johnson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Johnson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Killer avoiding damage.
Johnson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Killer's face.
Killer lands a hook that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Killer avoids a wild elbow strike from Johnson.
Johnson letting Killer take a breather here.
Killer tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the cage.

Johnson trying to control the position but instead, Killer has worked for underhooks and has pushed Johnson into the cage.

Killer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Killer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson lands with a slapping head kick.
Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Killer to the canvas! Johnson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Trey Johnson!
