Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuzo Fukiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryuzo Fukiko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Wilcox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryuzo Fukiko! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukiko misses with a wild body shot. Wilcox misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fukiko.
Wilcox closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fukiko did well to prevent Wilcox getting side control. Wilcox throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wilcox wants to work for an arm triangle but Fukiko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wilcox is trying to control the action in half guard but Fukiko is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wilcox not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wilcox sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fukiko defending well though. Wilcox wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fukiko keeps working. Fukiko is looking to improve his position.
Wilcox is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fukiko sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A right-left combo lands from Fukiko.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox fails to land the takedown. Fukiko lands with a shot to the body. Wilcox is breathing heavily. Fukiko cracks Wilcox with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wilcox looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fukiko finish him?
Wilcox is rocked!
It looks like Mark Wilcox has been cut. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilcox takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fukiko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fukiko scores with a hook to the body. Wilcox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Fukiko jabs at Wilcox's body. Fukiko ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ryuzo Fukiko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fukiko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Fukiko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wilcox tries to clinch up. Fukiko misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilcox drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wilcox wants to control from the top but Fukiko keeps moving. Fukiko working a defensive guard here.
Fukiko might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wilcox kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wilcox in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fukiko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fukiko holds on and takes a little breather. Wilcox connects with a couple of short punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fukiko working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wilcox. Fukiko looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Wilcox passes into half guard.
Wilcox trying to control the action but Fukiko is working from the bottom. Fukiko is looking to control Wilcox's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fukiko avoid being mounted? Fukiko wants to get back to full guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilcox is pressing down on Fukiko's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fukiko is holding on for now. Wilcox is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryuzo Fukiko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Wilcox's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wilcox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice body punch from Fukiko. Fukiko cracks a nice hook into Wilcox's ribs. Fukiko throws a body punch but Wilcox moves out of range. Fukiko changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nice body punch from Fukiko. Ryuzo Fukiko seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox staying out of range there. Fukiko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fukiko misses with a wild combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilcox. Wilcox avoids the body shot from Fukiko.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wilcox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fukiko swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wilcox tries to clinch up but Fukiko circles away and keeps his distance. Ryuzo Fukiko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fukiko keeps the fight on the outside. Wilcox looks for a takedown but Fukiko sprawls well. Wilcox moves away from the strike by Fukiko. Fukiko connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilcox tries to clinch up. Fukiko is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wilcox rather than just go for the knockout. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilcox. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Wilcox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fukiko misses with a wild body shot. Wilcox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fukiko scores with a hook to the body. Wilcox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fukiko throws a hook to the side of Wilcox's head but Wilcox sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fukiko Rushes Wilcox and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Wilcox is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Fukiko Piles on the pressure and Wilcox crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
