Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Radamen Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Strongman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Radamen Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bradley Strongman!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Strongman's waist but Strongman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sanchez off to one side.

Sanchez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Strongman prevents Sanchez from moving into mount.
Strongman manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sanchez's best efforts.
Strongman wants to get back to full guard.
Sanchez wants to stand but Strongman has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Strongman is trying to stand.
Strongman moves into full guard.
Strongman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strongman wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez passes into half guard.

Sanchez prevents Strongman from improving his position.
Sanchez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sanchez is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Strongman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Strongman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanchez wants to get up but he can't break Strongman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Strongman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sanchez wants to pass the guard but Strongman is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Strongman shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense.
Strongman looks gassed!

Sanchez gets to his feet - Strongman follows without any prompting.
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strongman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Radamen Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Strongman has closed the distance and engaged Sanchez in a clinch.
Strongman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sanchez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sanchez has hold of one of Strongman's legs. Strongman is fighting the takedown attempt but Sanchez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Strongman wants to hit a switch here but Sanchez passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Strongman there!

Sanchez has hold of Strongman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Strongman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Strongman tries to buck Sanchez off but he can't manage it.
Sanchez controlling the position easily from mount.
Sanchez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Strongman for as long as he can get away with.
Sanchez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Strongman hang on?

Sanchez tries to clinch up

and Strongman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sanchez's guard now.
Sanchez is pulling down on Strongman's head to control his posture.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Radamen Sanchez just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Sanchez missing with a left hand there. Strongman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sanchez tries to clinch up but Strongman circles away and keeps his distance.

Sanchez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Strongman is not content to let Sanchez control the position.
Strongman wants to control but Sanchez postures up.
Sanchez takes a little break here. Strongman wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Strongman is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sanchez controls the position.

Sanchez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Strongman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sanchez moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Radamen Sanchez just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Strongman. Strongman gets slowly back to his feet.

Strongman drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the cage.
Strongman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sanchez just stands there and leans against the cage.

Radamen Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bradley Strongman.

Sanchez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Strongman moves into the clinch.
Strongman avoiding damage as Sanchez throws knees to the body.
Sanchez misses with an elbow strike.
Sanchez is trying to break free.
Strongman fails to pull guard.
Strongman prevents the takedown attempt.
Strongman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sanchez fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sanchez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Strongman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sanchez's guard.
Strongman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanchez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Sanchez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Strongman.
Sanchez is trying to control but can't.
Strongman is trying to control the action in half guard but Sanchez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Strongman is stalling here. Sanchez is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Strongman seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sanchez has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Strongman tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Strongman is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount.
Sanchez controlling the pace for now.

Bradley Strongman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Sanchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Strongman counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that Strongman avoids nicely.
Strongman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sanchez circles away.
Strongman is looking to clinch but Sanchez is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Strongman.
Sanchez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Strongman's calf.
Strongman looks for a takedown but Sanchez sprawls well.
Radamen Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bradley Strongman.

Sanchez closes the distance and clinches.
Strongman blocks the elbow strike.

Strongman pulls guard successfully.
Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Strongman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sanchez looking to sit in guard and control but Strongman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Strongman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Strongman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now.

Radamen Sanchez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sanchez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Strongman is squirming around, avoiding Sanchez's attempts to control the action.
Sanchez throws some wild stikes that Strongman manages to avoid easily.
Strongman is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount.
Strongman wants to control but Sanchez is having none of it.
Strongman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Sanchez controlling his opponent.

Strongman has given up his back here.
Sanchez is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Strongman tries to break free.
Strongman trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Strongman staying busy and making it hard for Sanchez to control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Strongman controlling his opponent's hands, preventing the submission attempt.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Sanchez is not going to allow Strongman to sit and survive in this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sanchez is hanging on to Strongman's back as he tries to escape.
Sanchez has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Strongman's body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Radamen Sanchez showed his dominance in that final round.
