The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanayama shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Hanayama drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Silva wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

Hanayama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Hanayama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hanayama pulls his head out easily.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hanayama stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hanayama!
