Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Lilke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lilke looks to score with a jab to the body but Potter is just out of range.

Potter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Potter swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lilke is now in Potter's guard. A big mistake from Potter there, giving up the dominant position!
Potter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lilke manages to get himself to full guard.

Potter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lilke looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lilke looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lilke!
Kirk Potter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

You can see the frustration on Lilke's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
