The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
golodupcev cracks a nice hook into Scunt's ribs.
golodupcev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Scunt shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
golodupcev flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Scunt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but golodupcev was well out of range. Poor timing from Scunt.
golodupcev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Scunt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Scunt is breathing heavily.
golodupcev is trying to keep Scunt in close.

golodupcev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scunt is working away from the top position though.

Scunt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so golodupcev is just riding it out for now. Scunt eventually gives up the hold.

Scunt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Scunt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. golodupcev can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Scunt is going oldschool here, as he tries to force golodupcev to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so golodupcev shrugs it off.
