Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Veijo Vinssi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Pencil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinssi comes to the cage accompanied by The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius. Veijo Vinssi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Veijo Vinssi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, AJ Pencil!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinssi misses with a double jab.
A punch combination from Vinssi misses.
Pencil ducks under a wild hook from Vinssi.
Pencil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pencil takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A head kick misses from Pencil.
Pencil looks to land a left hand but Vinssi moved out of range nicely.
Vinssi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pencil moves into range and clinches up with Vinssi.
Vinssi tries to break free but Pencil pushes him back against the cage.
Pencil throws an elbow that misses.
Pencil escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pencil walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vinssi misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from Vinssi. No joy for Pencil on that attempt.
Pencil looks for a takedown but Vinssi sprawls well.
A punch combination from Vinssi misses.
Pencil instigates a clinch.
Pencil prevents Vinssi from breaking the clinch.
Pencil breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vinssi misses with a series of wild punches.
Vinssi throws a hook but Pencil avoids it easily.

Pencil wants to clinch up but Vinssi keeps it at a distance.
Vinssi throws a nice looking combination but Pencil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vinssi throws a series of punches but Pencil moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vinssi. Pencil does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vinssi moves forwards but Pencil connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Veijo Vinssi has been cut.
Vinssi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pencil was well out of range. Poor timing from Vinssi.
Vinssi misses with a wild body shot.
Pencil avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pencil throws a head kick that misses.
Vinssi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pencil throws a right hand that Vinssi ducks under and follows up with a left that Vinssi also avoids with ease.
Good exchange - Pencil coming out on top.
Vinssi misses with a series of wild punches.
Pencil has Vinssi up against the cage in a clinch.
Vinssi tries to circle away but Pencil has him pinned against the cage.
Vinssi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pencil is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Veijo Vinssi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Pencil.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vinssi is trying to break the clinch but Pencil has him pressed against the cage.
Pencil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vinssi falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pencil counters with a three punch combo that has Vinssi backing up. Vinssi nods at Pencil to acknowledge the strikes.
Vinssi is breathing heavily.
Pencil jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Veijo Vinssi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pencil shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vinssi defends it nicely.
Vinssi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pencil moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vinssi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vinssi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pencil manages to avoid it.
Vinssi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pencil counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pencil is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vinssi sees it coming and defends easily.
Pencil wants to take a breather but Vinssi is having none of it.
Pencil is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pencil tries to pass to full mount but Vinssi defends it.
Pencil passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Vinssi!
Vinssi is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vinssi has left one of his arms exposed and Pencil doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Vinssi screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). AJ Pencil!
