Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Drop the wolrd. Ramires is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivo Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sonny Ramires! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramires fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reis sprawls well initially but Ramires persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ramires is keen to just control but Reis is a slippery customer. Ramires prevents Reis from standing back up.
Reis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ramires pulls his head out easily. Reis is trying to stand back up but Ramires is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reis desperately trying to maintain half guard. Ramires is taking a breather. Reis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ramires wants to control but Reis is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis pushes Ramires off looking to stand but Ramires dives back in and keeps control.

Ramires wants to work for an arm triangle but Reis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Reis is trying to stand up here but Ramires is controlling him well. Reis tries to get to full guard but Ramires has control of the leg.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ramires shoots in for a takedown but Reis shows good takedown defense. Reis throws a right and a left that both miss. Ramires scores a takedown into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis tries to hold on but Ramires pushes him away. Ramires is trying to take his opponent's back.
Reis really wants to buck Ramires off and get back to his feet. Ramires controlling the position easily from mount. Reis is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramires misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Ramires looking for a guillotine from mount but Reis is having none of it. Ramires controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reis tries to lock up and control but Ramires gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ramires is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Reis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Reis manages to control the position for a moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ramires tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sonny Ramires dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ramires slips under a jab from Reis. Reis looks to land a right hand but Ramires moved out of range. Ramires shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reis as he jumps to the side. Ramires fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Reis is out of range. Ramires uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reis. Reis wants to clinch. Reis misses with a looping left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramires looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ramires is taking a breather. Reis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Reis is trying to get back to full guard. Reis is trying to stand back up but Ramires is controlling him
Ramires is working for a submission of some sort.
Reis is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ramires moves forwards but Reis connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ramires feints and as Reis raises his hands in defense, Ramires changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ramires controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ramires won't allow Reis to get back to his feet. Reis trying to control the position.
Reis is pulling down on Ramires's head to control his posture. Ramires postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ramires forces his way into half guard. Reis is trying is best to control the position here. Ramires is looking to advance position but Reis won't allow it. Well, if Ramires is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Sonny Ramires showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Ramires closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ramires lands in his opponent's guard. Ramires stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ramires avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramires drops back looking for a leg! Reis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reis manages to kick Ramires off! Ramires jumps back into Reis's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis keeping moving, preventing Ramires from controlling successfully. Ramires stops Reis from standing up. Ramires is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ramires advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Reis is staying active underneath Ramires, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reis lands a jab to the nose. Ramires shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reis but Reis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ramires shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reis pinned against the cage. Reis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Reis takes a swing at Ramires's ribcage but misses. Ramires looks for a takedown but Reis sprawls well. Ivo Reis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sonny Ramires. Ramires slips a straight right by Reis. Ivo Reis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A combination from Reis does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Reis misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ramires. Ramires is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ramires takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ramires is looking to take a break and control but Reis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reis bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Reis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ramires counters with a takedown into side control. Ramires controlling the position. Ramires swings around for an armbar but Reis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ramires's guard. Ramires keeping moving, preventing Reis from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Sonny Ramires comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ramires winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
