Rabbit has chosen Hero by Skillet as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Compton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Rabbit!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton takes a swing at Rabbit's ribcage but misses.
Compton keeps Rabbit at a distance using the push kick.
Compton throws a big shot that misses.
Rabbit staying out of range there.
Rabbit throws the left hand but Compton avoids the punch easily.
Rabbit misses with a double jab.
Compton misses with a combination
and Rabbit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rabbit scores with a push kick.
Compton tries to clinch up but Rabbit circles away and keeps his distance.
Compton fails with an attempt to clinch.

Compton clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Compton landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Compton gets through Rabbit's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.


It looks like Johnny Rabbit has been cut.
Compton is working Rabbit over against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Compton creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Compton working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Compton missing with knees to the body.
Compton lands a knee to the head.
Rabbit pushes off an throws an elbow but Compton leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Rabbit is rocked!
Rabbit looks gassed!

Rabbit breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rabbit is still on wobbly legs! Can Compton finish him?
Compton clinches but Rabbit breaks the clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Rabbit seems to have recovered his senses.
Rabbit misses with a body shot.
Compton looks to land a right hand but Rabbit moved out of range.
Compton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Peter Compton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Compton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rabbit shoots in for a takedown but Compton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Compton thuds his right hand into Rabbit's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Peter Compton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Compton tries to close the distance and clinch but Rabbit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rabbit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Compton.
Compton lands a lovely overhand right.
Compton with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Compton throws a jab but it's blocked by Rabbit.
Compton will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Compton tries to clinch up but Rabbit circles away and keeps his distance.
Compton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rabbit paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rabbit throws a sloppy body shot
and Compton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Compton thuds a left hand into Rabbit's body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Compton.
Some wild striking there from Compton.
Rabbit keeps the fight on the outside.
Compton scores with a jab to the jaw.
Rabbit has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rabbit there as he acknowledges the shot.
A thudding body kick lands there by Compton!

Compton lands a big uppercut and Rabbit crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rabbit looks OK. Compton waves Rabbit back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rabbit moves out of range of the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Compton closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rabbit! Compton dives in looking to finish! Rabbit is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Compton!
