Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lafungu Magungua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Luck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lafungu Magungua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Luck! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magungua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Luck's waist but Luck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magungua off to one side. Luck looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Luck shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Magungua tries to clinch up. Magungua shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Magungua showed some decent athleticism there. Magungua throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Well, if Magungua is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Magungua decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Magungua shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Luck's guard. Magungua postures up and lands a big shot to Luck's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magungua drops back looking for a leg! Luck is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Luck manages to kick Magungua off! Magungua jumps back into Luck's guard. Luck wants to stand and escape but Magungua is having none of it. Magungua controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luck looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magungua wants to control from the top but Luck keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Magungua is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Magungua's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Luck can't keep his opponent in guard - Magungua advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Magungua works his way into full mount! Magungua content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magungua's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Magungua pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Magungua with shots to the head and body - Luck looks very uncomfortable down there. Magungua controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Magungua has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Lafungu Magungua just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Magungua looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Magungua tries to clinch there but Luck circles away.
Magungua drives through with a takedown into guard. Magungua controlling from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lafungu Magungua dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Magungua wants to clinch. Magungua shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Magungua wants to take a breather but Luck is having none of it. Magungua controlling the pace. Luck is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luck is staying active underneath Magungua, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Magungua keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Magungua takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Magungua lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Magungua stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Luck to get to his feet. Luck keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Luck misses with a takedown and Magungua counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Luck is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Magungua wants to pass the guard but Luck is keeping the position. Magungua makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Magungua sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Luck's guard. Magungua frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Magungua tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magungua with the ground and pound from mount. Luck is looking to improve his position but Magungua isn't that keen on the idea. Magungua with good strikes from the mount here! Magungua lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Luck hang on? The referee warns Luck that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Lafungu Magungua overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Magungua is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Luck is surviving well by controlling Magungua's body position as best he can. Luck tries to hold on but Magungua pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magungua controlling the position easily from mount. Luck is desperately trying to improve his position but Magungua has a good base and remains in mount. Magungua is in the full mount, landing strikes. Magungua putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lafungu Magungua dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Magungua decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Magungua trying to control the action but Luck is working from the bottom. Magungua working Luck over with strikes. Magungua passes to full mount! Magungua controlling from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Luck is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magungua with good strikes from the mount here! Magungua is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Luck has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Luck is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Luck reaches up to try and control the position but Magungua seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Luck rolls and tries to escape and now Magungua has his back!
The referee is taking a good look at Luck as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Magungua!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Luck grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Magungua controls the action. Luck grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Magungua controlling from the back. Luck tries to break free.
Luck defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Magungua's arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magungua slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Magungua is looking to control Luck but Luck is wriggling around and keeping busy. Luck trying to control the hands but Magungua breaks the grip. Magungua scores with punches to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Luck defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Lucas Luck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lafungu Magungua is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Luck is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Magungua.
And that's the end of the fight! Lafungu Magungua showed his dominance in that final round. Well Magungua has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
