Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Javier Alejara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dorian Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alejara comes to the cage accompanied by I´m in Miami Bitch. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Javier Alejara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dorian Grey!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey shoots in for a double leg but Alejara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alejara throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Alejara misses the target.

Grey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Grey uses his free foot to push down on Alejara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alejara.
Grey pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Alejara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Grey has hold of Alejara's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Alejara manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Grey looking for a guillotine from mount but Alejara is having none of it.

Grey looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Alejara wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grey cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Alejara's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Alejara prevents Grey from taking his back.
Alejara is squirming around, avoiding Grey's attempts to control the action.
Alejara is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Alejara is breathing heavily.
Grey wants to take Alejara's back but he can't do it this time.

Grey goes for an armbar but Alejara turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Alejara.

Grey manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Grey or perhaps it was just good defense by Alejara which made him look bad.
Nice defenses there by Grey.

A left and a right from Alejara both land. Nice combination.
Grey shoots in for a double leg but Alejara sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Javier Alejara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dorian Grey.
Alejara thuds his right hand into Grey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Grey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alejara sprawls well initially but Grey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Grey prevents Alejara from standing back up.
Grey passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Alejara!
Alejara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grey on the ground.

Grey is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Alejara to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Alejara shrugs it off.
Alejara stops Grey from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Alejara wants to try and get back to his feet.
Alejara has given up his back here. Will Grey look for the submission or keep pounding away?
This has been an exciting period of action!
What can Alejara do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Grey wants to control but Alejara is keeping busy.

Grey is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Alejara has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Grey scores with punches from the back.
Grey trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Alejara is trying to stand back up.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Grey's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well, with Grey on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Alejara is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Grey tightening his grip on Alejara, looking for the choke.

Grey has his opponent's back but Alejara is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Grey.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Grey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alejara keeps working.
Alejara is trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dorian Grey dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Grey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Alejara tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Grey slips under a jab from Alejara.

Grey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alejara sprawls well initially but Grey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Grey winds up and cracks Alejara with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Grey is trying to control the action in half guard but Alejara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Grey tries to pass to full mount but Alejara defends it.
Grey uses his free foot to push down on Alejara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alejara.

Grey moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Alejara has worked his arm free - good work by Alejara!

Grey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alejara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alejara is trying to buck Grey off.

Dorian Grey has got the better of the ground game so far.

Grey tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Alejara is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Grey is controlling him well.
Grey staying calm.
Alejara tries to escape but Grey is in control.

Grey is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Alejara is trying to escape and Grey transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Alejara is forced to tap! Nice work there by Grey! Very nice indeed!
