Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmelo Caramelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caramelo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lux Aeterna. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fred Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carmelo Caramelo! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Caramelo which made him look bad. Caramelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage. Caramelo gets a trip takedown into half guard. Caramelo slows the pace down in half guard. Silva wants to improve his position but Caramelo is controlling well.
Caramelo is figuring out what he wants to do next. Caramelo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Silva looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Caramelo works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is looking to improve his position but Caramelo isn't that keen on the idea. Caramelo avoids the attempt from Silva to control. Silva really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Caramelo controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva tries to hold on but Caramelo postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Caramelo controlling the position easily from mount. Silva tries to hold on but Caramelo pushes him away. Caramelo controlling from mount. Silva keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva wants to control but Caramelo is having none of it. Caramelo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Caramelo controlling from the full mount. Silva is looking to get to half guard. Caramelo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Silva to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Silva shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva is desperately trying to improve his position but Caramelo has a good base and remains in mount. Silva is working hard here to advance position. Silva wants to hold on but Caramelo pushes him away. Silva is desperately trying to improve his position but Caramelo has a good base and remains in mount. Silva is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Caramelo controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmelo Caramelo dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Caramelo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silva's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Caramelo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Silva regains guard.
Silva keeping moving, preventing Caramelo from controlling successfully. Silva controls Caramelo momentarily but Caramelo frees himself. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Caramelo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Caramelo passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Well, if Caramelo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caramelo is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.
Caramelo sitting and controlling from the half guard. Caramelo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Silva is looking to control Caramelo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Silva is trying to get back to full guard. Caramelo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily. Caramelo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Caramelo is breathing heavily. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Caramelo is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Caramelo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Silva looks to clinch and Caramelo moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caramelo jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Caramelo is keeping the position for now. Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Caramelo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Caramelo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Silva looking to pass the guard. Caramelo controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Caramelo is on top in guard.
Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Silva is trying to keep Caramelo in close.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Caramelo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Silva looking for subs off his back but Caramelo has passed one foot through into half guard.
Silva is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmelo Caramelo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Silva misses with a takedown and Caramelo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Caramelo. Caramelo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Caramelo in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Silva tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Caramelo!
