Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Jewtuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jewtuszko comes to the cage accompanied by The Rolling Stones - Paint it black. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcin Jewtuszko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Akiyama! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jewtuszko lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Danga de danga de dang - Akiyama scores with a four punch combination! Jewtuszko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jewtuszko wants to stand but Akiyama is controlling the position. Akiyama looking to sit in guard and control but Jewtuszko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jewtuszko wants to control from the top but Akiyama keeps moving. Akiyama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jewtuszko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jewtuszko misses with a takedown and Akiyama counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jewtuszko won't be happy with that. Akiyama tries to stand but Jewtuszko is controlling his head. An elbow from Akiyama crashes against the mat.
Jewtuszko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Akiyama asserts his dominance and retains side control. Jewtuszko trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jewtuszko is breathing heavily. Akiyama throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jewtuszko walks forward, straight into a front kick from Akiyama. Akiyama has closed the distance and engaged Jewtuszko in a clinch.
Akiyama jumps guard but Jewtuszko stands there with Akiyama around his waist. Akiyama gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Akiyama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jewtuszko swinging wildly here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Akiyama moves into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshihiro Akiyama dominated that round. That's time! Jewtuszko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Akiyama pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Akiyama tries for a takedown but Jewtuszko circles away easily and Jewtuszko counters by moving into the clinch. Jewtuszko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Akiyama fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Akiyama shoots in but no luck this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jewtuszko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Akiyama scores with a one two! Jewtuszko had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Jewtuszko avoids the head kick by Akiyama.

Jewtuszko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Akiyama is controlling him. Akiyama slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jewtuszko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Akiyama is controlling him. Akiyama controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akiyama pushing down on Jewtuszko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Akiyama looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Akiyama tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jewtuszko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Akiyama somewhat. Marcin Jewtuszko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshihiro Akiyama. Jewtuszko moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Akiyama gets caught flat footed, as Jewtuszko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Akiyama is trying to keep Jewtuszko in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Marcin Jewtuszko will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Akiyama is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Jewtuszko gets his way!

Akiyama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jewtuszko is standing up, even though he is in mount. Akiyama circles away from the clinch attempt and Akiyama decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jewtuszko's guard. Akiyama prevents Jewtuszko from getting back to his feet. Akiyama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akiyama wants to control from the top but Jewtuszko keeps moving. Akiyama prevents Jewtuszko from getting back to his feet. Jewtuszko pushes Akiyama off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jewtuszko wants to clinch and Akiyama counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Akiyama has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jewtuszko clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Akiyama missing with strikes from the back. Jewtuszko has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Akiyama. Akiyama is looking to control Jewtuszko but Jewtuszko is wriggling around and keeping busy. Akiyama thows a strike but Jewtuszko uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Jewtuszko as he ends up in Akiyama 's guard!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akiyama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jewtuszko wants to control from the top but Akiyama keeps moving. Akiyama working for a triangle but Jewtuszko defends it easily.
Jewtuszko stands and steps away. Akiyama gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jewtuszko tries to bum rush Akiyama with a series of wild strikes but Akiyama uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Akiyama throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jewtuszko was covering up waiting for the punch and Akiyama finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jewtuszko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jewtuszko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Akiyama controls the pace. Jewtuszko is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Akiyama pulls guard successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Yoshihiro Akiyama comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Akiyama has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
