PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GREGORY ANDERSON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drago looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
ANDERSON misses with a takedown attempt - Drago sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
ANDERSON throws a head kick but Drago moves out of range.

and Drago decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in ANDERSON's guard.

Drago shoots in and bounces ANDERSON off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Drago changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. ANDERSON tries to avoid it but Drago manages to keep hold of a leg and drag ANDERSON to the ground. ANDERSON escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

ANDERSON tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Drago paws at him with a jab and circles away.

ANDERSON shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Drago napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well ANDERSON has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
