Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patt Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Warrior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patt Barry is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patt Barry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ultimate Warrior!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warrior closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Barry looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Warrior gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Warrior controlling the action here.
Warrior's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Barry is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Warrior lands with a punch from half guard.
Warrior is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ultimate Warrior just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barry.

Warrior shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Warrior was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Warrior is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Warrior misses with a head kick.

Warrior looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Barry!
Warrior is landing with some decent strikes but Barry is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Warrior controlling his opponent.

Warrior is working for a guillotine from mount but Barry frees his head quite easily.

Warrior is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Barry is surviving well by controlling Warrior's body position as best he can.

Warrior is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Barry has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Barry!
Warrior is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Barry wants to stand but Warrior has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Barry trying to control but Warrior is working from the bottom.
Barry throwing strikes from guard but Warrior blocks nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ultimate Warrior dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Warrior wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Barry.

Warrior clinches with his opponent.

Warrior breaks from the clinch.
Barry throws a nice looking combination but Warrior bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Warrior throws a head kick that misses.
Warrior avoids the head kick by Barry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warrior bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Warrior thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
A lull in the action here as Warrior stalls from top position.

Barry is trying to buck Warrior off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Warrior is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Warrior goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Barry rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Warrior's guard! Nice work there by Barry!
Warrior is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barry wants to get up but he can't break Warrior's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warrior can do anything to dispel that myth.
Warrior keeping full guard, as Barry tries to pass.
Barry wanted to stand there but Warrior had control of the position.
Barry looking to pass the guard.
Barry wants to control from the top but Warrior keeps moving.
Warrior is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Warrior isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Barry stacks Warrior on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Barry!
Barry wants to stand but Warrior is controlling his arm.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Warrior shoots in but Barry avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barry dives in and grabs Warrior's left leg, looking for a takedown. Warrior pushes down on Barry's head and hops out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Warrior moves into the clinch.
Warrior lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Barry backwards.
Warrior is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Barry pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Barry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Warrior fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ultimate Warrior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Warrior takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Warrior feints and as Barry raises his hands in defense, Warrior changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Warrior thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Warrior is working Barry over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Warrior sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Warrior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barry swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barry looking to control.
Barry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Warrior is controlling him.

Warrior sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

It looks like Warrior is going to stand back up.

Barry is trying to stand up here but Warrior is controlling him well.
Nice strikes from Warrior there.
Barry won't allow Warrior to pass to mount.
Barry is looking to get back to full guard here but Warrior has managed to pass to side control instead.

Barry's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Warrior avoids the attempt from Barry to control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warrior looking to control and managing it successfully.
Barry tries to hold on but Warrior postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Warrior sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Ultimate Warrior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Warrior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
