Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Silva does it's job there.
Mar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva scores with a one two! Mar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Silva thows a body kick. Mar tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Mar is breathing heavily.
Mar is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mar was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee warns Mar that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silva throws a head kick that Mar semi-blocks.
Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mar's half guard.
Silva decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Silva perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

BOOM! Silva connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Silva fails to advance to Mar's back.
Silva cracks Mar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mar is just holding on here. Silva manages to take his back.
Silva has got one arm under Mar's chin. This could be trouble... Mar trying to control the other hand but Silva gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Mar has tapped out! The fight is over!
