Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Thugs as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jordan Lee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stevie Walker's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevie Walker!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Walker.
Lee misses with a hook.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Walker defends it well.

Lee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Walker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lee scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee is working for a kimura but Walker is defending it quite comfortably.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Walker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Walker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Walker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Walker!
You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Walker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Walker tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lee throws a hook to the side of Walker's head but Walker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lee pulls guard successfully.

Lee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Walker has picked Lee up and slammed him! Lee can't keep hold of the triangle and Walker manages to pass to side control!

Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Walker looks up at the clock and then as Lee takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Walker smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Lee is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Walker has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Walker misses with a hook.
Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Walker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet.
Lee throws out a loose jab but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Walker blocks a jab.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lee.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Walker gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Walker tries to roll over but Lee keeps him under control.
Walker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Walker holds on and takes a little breather.

Lee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Walker dives on top into guard.
Walker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Walker tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Walker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted.

Walker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Lee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Lee goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Walker turns into him and now he's in Lee's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Walker looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Stevie Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Walker is out of range and Lee settles back down.
Walker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.
Walker staying out of range there.
Good exchange - Lee coming out on top.
Walker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Walker blocks a jab.
Walker throws a head kick that half lands.
Lee scores with a body shot.
Walker jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Walker misses with a wild body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Walker.
Lee takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lee, into his guard.

Lee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Walker has picked Lee up and slammed him! Lee can't keep hold of the triangle and Walker manages to pass to side control!

Lee is letting Walker control him for a moment.
You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Walker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick
and Walker counters with a nice leg kick.
Lee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Walker counters with a nice kick to the body.
Stevie Walker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Walker lands a jab to the head.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walker moves away.
Lee throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A low kick from Lee is predictable there

and Walker counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Walker with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Walker lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Walker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Walker cracks Lee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Walker misses with a double jab.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut there from Walker.
Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Walker delivers a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee walks into a straight right hand from Walker.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice jab there from Walker.
Walker scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lee walks into a left hand.
Walker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf.
Walker connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Walker clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Walker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Walker throws a combination. Lee tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Walker thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lee if he has to take too many more of those.
Lee is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Walker lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Walker cracks Lee with a good jab.
Walker throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Walker's shoulder, as Walker tries to avoid the shot.
Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee shoots and misses
and Walker counters with a good, hard body kick but Lee shrugs it off.
Walker connects with a right hand. Lee shakes it off.
Walker lands a nice looking body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Walker. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Walker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walker cracks Lee with an open hand slap.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Walker throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it.
Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jordan Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Walker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.
The fighters circle momentarily. Walker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lee throws the left hand but Walker avoids the punch easily.
Lee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice sprawl there from Walker as Lee shoots in.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee tries to pull guard but Walker won't allow it.

Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Walker darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stevie Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
