Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasha Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Drago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jasha Ivanov! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drago swivels and escapes. Drago misses with the combination.
Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drago lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ivanov circles away quickly and effectively. Drago looks to land a combination but Ivanov avoids it well. Drago swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ivanov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drago circles away. Drago stuffs the takedown attempt from Ivanov. Ivanov gets slowly back to his feet. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Drago gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Drago wants to stand up but Ivanov is controlling him. Ivanov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Drago throws a head kick that misses. Drago stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drago wants it to stay on the feet. Drago works over Ivanov's head and body with a nice combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivanov throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Drago!
Drago is trying to get back to his feet but Ivanov has full control of the position and if anything, Drago has just worked his way into a worse spot. Drago is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ivanov moves into range and clinches up with Drago. Ivanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ivanov throws a sloppy head kick enabling Drago to counter with a crisp jab. Ivanov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drago takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ivanov decides to stand back up. Ivanov moves into the clinch. Drago's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ivanov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Drago stuffs the takedown attempt from Ivanov. Ivanov gets slowly back to his feet. Ivanov circles away from the clinch attempt and Ivanov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Drago! Ivanov looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanov wants to control the pace but Drago is squirming around nicely. Drago manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Drago wants to get back to his feet. Drago is trying to escape back to his feet but Ivanov uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jasha Ivanov has got the better of the ground game so far. Drago wants to get back to his feet but Ivanov is dominant here and he's now got Drago's back! Drago has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
