Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Man Pig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dean stuffs the takedown.
Dean gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pig counters with a series of strikes. Dean will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pig rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dean moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dean takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pig misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dean.

Dean creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pig sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Pig stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pig wants it to stay on the feet.
Man Pig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dean counters with a single leg into guard. Pig didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dean connects with a nice short shot to Pig's temple.
Dean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dean looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pig is trying to stand.

Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pig keeps working.

Dean is trying to work for a kimura but Pig is defending well.
Dean thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pig's head.
Dean moves into full mount! Pig won't be happy about that!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dean misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Dean throwing strikes here but Pig is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dean throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Pig really wants to buck Dean off and get back to his feet.
Pig is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
