Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Valesquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valesquez comes to the cage accompanied by "Ratamahatta" by Sepultura. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fabricio Valesquez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fernando Neto! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valesquez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Neto's sensitive parts. Neto throws a hook but Valesquez avoids it easily. Neto tries to close the distance and clinch but Valesquez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Valesquez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Neto's corner calls for a 1-2. Neto obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Neto attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Neto scores with a jab to the jaw. Neto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Neto looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Neto is looking to take a break and control but Valesquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Valesquez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Neto seems to be working for a kimura but Valesquez defends the submission attempt. Neto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Valesquez sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valesquez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Neto. Valesquez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Neto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Valesquez is just riding it out for now. Neto eventually gives up the hold. Neto wants to control but Valesquez is keeping him busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Neto on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Valesquez. Valesquez obviously looking to wear him down.
Neto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Neto not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valesquez trying to control but Neto is working from the bottom. Valesquez stopping the sweep attempt from Neto. Neto trying to control the position.
Valesquez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Neto's head. Neto looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Valesquez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Neto is keeping the position for now. Valesquez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Valesquez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Valesquez trying to control but Neto is working from the bottom. Neto controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valesquez preventing the sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Neto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Valesquez goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Valesquez blocks a leg kick. Neto fails with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Neto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Neto thows a leg kick but Valesquez checks it and Valesquez counters with a head kick. That will keep Neto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Neto misses with an uppercut. Valesquez saw that one coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neto doesn't succeed with the takedown and Valesquez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Neto! Neto wants to hold on but Valesquez pushes him away. Valesquez landing shots from mount. Neto tries to reverse the position but Valesquez maintains control. Valesquez raining down shots from the mount! Valesquez prevents Neto from getting the reversal. Neto wants to hold on but Valesquez pushes him away. Neto has left one of his arms exposed and Valesquez doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Neto screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
